Mission Festival - October 10, 2021
Through the apostolic ministry, God comes through His Word to bring people to the knowledge of sin and the gift of forgiveness and life through faith in Jesus, His Son. The reason all die is our sin inherited from our earthly father, Adam. More important, however, is the reason all can receive forgiveness and life—the free gift of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. By repentance and faith, all the baptized are made a kingdom of priests bearing witness to all of the salvation that is in Christ, our Lord. Today God renews His promises and love by His Word and Spirit as His living voice continues to come to us through Word and Sacrament.
