Fifth Sunday after the Epiphany - February 5, 2023
In today’s epistle reading, Paul describes a twofold dimension in our relationship with Christ. First, we are to be firm, not forsaking Him and His truth, which is their root source of life. Second, however, we should stretch outward and upward, like a building project moving forward according to plan. Being well instructed in the faith, we have what we need to look away from ourselves and always to Christ. Living out what we have learned will fill us with gratitude for what the Lord has done in rooting and continuing to lead us.
