Sunday Bulletin I remember working both 1st and 2nd shift at the Menard's distribution center in Eau Claire back while I was in college. I had several different supervisors in those days. Some, were very focused and specific to the tasks and work at hand. Others, didn't seem to give much direction at all and rather let us go more or less 'figure it out.' It was challenging to know what those supervisors wanted or expected out of us. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. Our Lord clearly directs and leads us. He gives us all the direction we need through His Holy Word. He teaches us how to think of others in our prayers, and not just ourselves. He teaches us of His desire for all people to seek after the knowledge of the truth and salvation in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will NOT perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16 May our Lord Jesus continue to teach us the incomparable value of this priceless truth as we rejoice in and pray for our freedoms this weekend: from sin, from death, from the devil, and the guilt that He alone desires to set us free from through His loving mercy and forgiveness.
